Behind every donation to Dalhousie's United Way Campaign is a personal and powerful commitment to helping people. Whether the gift is $10 or $1,000, each donation plays a critical role in tackling social issues and working toward strategic solutions to help those most in need in our community.
With contributions of $1,000 or greater, United Way donors become 'Leaders' and help set a standard of charitable giving for the campaign. At Dalhousie, that standard has grown each year. Leaders play a particularly strong role at Dalhousie, accounting for 42 per cent of Dalhousie's fundraising total (contributing over $77,000 in 2007).
